Try a Blended Aged Rum – Plantation 3 Stars White Rum – The Distillery Bar Beijing

Did you know last Friday (August 14th) was National Rum day? Although we at Capital Spirits always enjoy contributing to the cause (i.e. World Baijiu Day), we also like to say we celebrate ALL spirits equally EVERY DAY. When it comes to Rum, we’re proud to stock several unique craft rums including Plantation 3 Stars White Rum.

Many rums are aged, many are produced as white rums and some are aged then filtered clear. Plantation 3 stars (3 stars representing the three islands of Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad), is a blend of 3 year old aged Trinidad rum, 12 year Jamaican rum, and unaged Barbados rum. The result is a truly special.

You’ll quickly notice tropical fruits, hints of banana, brown sugar and spice on the nose. The aged Jamaican rum is the prominent taste with a rich sugar and earthy spice but lots of vanilla to the finish.

It’s great to sip alone or in a daiquiri. Also recommended is the original dark Plantation 3 Star in one of our Dark N’ Stormy cocktails made with special German import Thomas Henry Ginger Beer.
